Under Swedish work environment legislation, the employer bears the overall responsibility for the work environment. However, several other actors within the organisation have defined roles with specific duties and expectations. Effective cooperation between the employer and employees is a prerequisite for achieving a safe and healthy work environment. One of the fundamental principles of the Work Environment Act (1977:1160) is therefore that work environment management shall be based on cooperation.
What to Expect from the Webinar
During this webinar, we will review the roles and responsibilities of the various actors involved in work environment management, how work environment duties may be allocated within the organisation, how cooperation can be organised in practice, and the rights and obligations of safety representatives.

- Allocation of Work Environment Duties: How work environment duties may be allocated within the organisation.
