One or zero? Minister takes the temperature of digitization

Watch our Almedalen seminar where Minister for Housing and Digitalization Peter Eriksson leads a conversation with representatives of areas that are greatly affected by and are actually the actual customers of digitization.

Digitization is the great promise of our time. A promise of increased prosperity, productivity gains and associated growth. The IT&Telecom companies' report "One or zero?" shows that the opportunities offered by digitization are still in their infancy, but also that change is happening very quickly. For those companies, industries, regions and countries that succeed in driving the change, the promise will be realized. Those that fail to adapt will be left behind. This is also very much the case for Sweden.

The government recently presented its digitalization strategy with the aim of making Sweden the best in the world at exploiting the opportunities of digitalization. What does this actually mean?

Sweden's Minister for Housing and Digitalization, Peter Eriksson (MP), talks to representatives of areas that are greatly affected by and are actually the actual clients of digitalization. How do they see the development in their areas and what do they want from digitalization policy? What benefits do they see digitalization bringing to people?

Participants:

Peter Eriksson (MP), Minister for Housing and Digitalization
David Mothander, Director of IT&Telecomföretagen
Maja Fjaestad, Head of Social Policy at Kommunal
Karin Nygårds, teacher and ambassador for the digitalization of schools
Petronella Warg, Head of Public Relations Min Doktor
