Sustainability Council
The Sustainability Council works actively both to develop the industry's own sustainability work in a positive direction and to highlight the industry as an enabler of sustainable development of the whole of society, with the ambition to be the entire tech industry's collective voice in the field of sustainability. The Council's members represent hardware and software suppliers as well as service companies.
Are these issues of concern to you too? Then you are welcome to contact Frida Faxborn, Industry Policy Expert at TechSverige.

TechSverige's sustainability work - Questions and answers about sustainability
The tech industry in Sweden has a long and good tradition of working with sustainability issues and collaborating both within the private sector and with the public sector. This is a prerequisite both for living up to and delivering products and services in accordance with both the legislator's and the market's environmental and sustainability requirements and for acting as an enabler of sustainability in all parts of society that use the tech industry's products and services.

2030 Agenda
In September 2015, the world's heads of state and government adopted the 2030 Agenda, which consists of 17 global goals aimed at eradicating extreme poverty, solving the climate crisis and promoting peace and justice.
Although the goals are primarily formulated for states, digitization plays an important role as a catalyst for several of the goals and can, through innovations and technological leaps, contribute to finding solutions to the challenges of our time.
By collecting and highlighting good examples, TechSverige wants to show the industry's contribution to the work on the goals of the agenda and inspire more companies to use their resources and knowledge to contribute to sustainable social development. The time is now.
