I don't think we need to be so worried about the future...
If you ever have doubts about today's youth, you should visit a Young Enterprise Fair or meet some JA companies. It is amazing to see the creativity and drive of these young people. Today I have had the privilege of being part of the jury in the Swedish final in the category "Best Service" and it is both fantastic fun and incredibly difficult. There are many who deserve a prize, which everyone at this fair actually has, they have all won their respective JA regional finals.
We clearly see that service companies are increasing within JA. In the IT sector, for example, we find several companies that sell IT support to the home. These JA companies definitely have a chance to become real companies - especially if there will be a "RIT deduction", ie the opportunity to make deductions for household IT services as well as RUT and ROT. This is something we are lobbying for.
Furthermore, I find JA companies for various mobile services, such as advertising via SMS. There are web agencies, with various web services and training companies in IT. Almost all JA companies - regardless of category - are on the web, not only with their own website, but also as part of the service, such as quality monitoring or choice of service.
Incidentally, I read to my great pleasure that applications for technical education have increased this fall. I think that the attention from both the business community, various organizations and authorities such as the Technology Delegation has been beneficial. These are programs to invest in. And just think when these entrepreneurial young people from the JA companies combine this with a good technical education. I don't think we need to be so worried about the future ...
