I want to be a doctor! I want to be a firefighter! I want to be a scrum master!
If you don't want to be a pure technical expert in IT, but want to be "something else in IT but dealing with people", what do you become? If you're in the industry, you can probably spit out a bunch of titles and job roles: business developer, operations developer, project manager, process specialist, IT salesperson, etc. These roles are needed, and the people who have them like their jobs and earn good money. The big question, however, is how to describe to - and attract - those who are outside the industry (read: young people we want to bring into the industry)? Is there a good name for these "concept people", who have a basic technical understanding but work on developing business and use? Suggestions are gratefully received.
