Ulla and Ylva strike a blow for IT skills

These are grateful times for those of us who are pushing issues concerning the IT industry's need for skills. This morning, the IT&Telecom companies' report on the shortage was launched at a seminar organized by IT&Telecom companies together with Stockholm IT Region. The panel included Ulla Hamilton, Mayor of Stockholm, who spoke warmly about the report, together with other dignitaries from the County Administrative Board and the Swedish Public Employment Service. In the audience was also Ylva Johansson, the Social Democrats' former Minister of Education and now chairman of the Parliamentary Labor Market Committee. Ulla Hamilton also strikes a blow for the industry in a debate article on SvD's website , which she wrote together with Anne-Marie Fransson and others.
