25,000 signatures against new taxes on computers and tablets

The stoppacopyswede petition, which opposes Copyswede's new levy requirements on computers, game consoles and tablets, has collected 25,000 signatures in less than a week.

The fees make various types of hardware significantly more expensive for the consumer. Both IT&Telecom companies and the electronics industry have previously questioned the legitimacy of Copyswede's new requirements.
