Assignment to analyze the consequences of a requirement for e-invoicing to the public sector
IT&Telekomföretagen has contributed to the newly published report describing the Swedish National Financial Management Authority's (ESV) government assignment to analyze the consequences of a requirement for companies to send electronic invoices to the public sector.
ESV's overall assessment is that there is untapped potential in the public sector in terms of cost savings in a transition to electronic invoicing. A transition is also expected to have other positive effects, including for the environment.
