Welcome Lars Lundberg, new expert on welfare technology!
Lars Lundberg is a new industry policy expert at IT&Telekomföretagen, and will work on issues related to welfare technology and procurement and, among other things, be responsible for the member councils Arena Välfärdsteknologi and Rådet för offentlig marknad.
What is your background?
Most recently, I come from the City of Stockholm, the Elderly Administration, where I worked as an IT strategist. Being an IT strategist meant that I looked into the future to see which digital welfare services could be assessed and then also delivered to those in need. A prerequisite for this is that there is an infrastructure in place that can safely and stably deliver the services. This meant that I had to familiarize myself with infrastructure issues and start setting requirements for technical standards for digital products and services.
In parallel, I became the project manager for a project - Stockholm Digital Care - which aimed to give older people greater security at home while growing the market for digital products and services. The project involved Södertälje, Huddinge and Nacka municipalities and the Stockholm County Council.
Why did you choose IT&Telecom companies?
To work nationally to influence the development of welfare technology and public procurement.
What issues are at the top of your agenda right now?
To familiarize myself with how Almega and IT&Telecom companies work and get to know the member companies and establish contacts with their representatives!
