Welcome Yasmine Munshi, the new Assistant to the President of IT&Telecom!

On August 17th, Yasmine Munshi started as a union assistant at IT&Telecom companies. We asked Yasmine a few quick questions:

What have you worked on before?

I have worked as a Group Management and CEO Assistant first at Trygg Hansa and then Moderna Försäkringar. Together I have about 20 years in the insurance industry so it was time to do something different!

What are you most looking forward to in your new job?

It will be great to learn more about the IT and telecom industry and the issues that are important to our members. A lot is new and just after a couple of days I have received a lot of stimulation. So I look forward to the continuation!

Do you have any hobbies?

Yes, as a relatively new homeowner, the biggest and only interest right now is renovating the house, both inside and out! Me and my partner help out, where he is responsible for all construction and I for interior design and gardening. Otherwise, I am very fond of horses and riding, movies, music, daily exercise and of course spending as much time as possible with my lovely daughter Olivia who is 12 years old!

Do you have any particular talent?

I have been able to sing and play both guitar and piano when I went to music high school. But now I have unfortunately forgotten most of it. On the other hand, I have a bit of a crush on two of my siblings who are actors, so I can probably humbly say that I have some talent in that area.
