New chairman of the Telecommunications Advisors
Ann-Sofie Fahlgren, Head of Unit Consumer Rights, Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS), has been elected as the new chairman of the Telecoms Advisors.

I feel confident that it is a well-managed and efficient organization with knowledgeable, committed and driven employees who make a difference for consumers," says Ann-Sofie Fahlgren, Head of Unit Consumer Rights, Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS).
- "It feels good to be part of the important work of the Telecom Advisors to help consumers make informed decisions when signing up for a telephone subscription or broadband service, for example. Through the Telecoms Advisors, consumers will be able to safeguard their rights," says Ann-Sofie Fahlgren.

The current chairman, Sara Andersson, is handing over the chairmanship as she has left PTS. Two new operator members were also elected to the Board - Ulrika Steg, Business Area Manager, Telenor and Robert Liljeström, PA Manager, Telia.

The telecom advisers provide impartial and free help to consumers on subscriptions for TV, telephony and broadband. Through active cooperation with authorities and operators, they contribute to the goal of creating Sweden's best consumer market.
Telekområdgivarna is owned by IT&Telekomföretagen and is financed by the TV, telephony and broadband operators that have chosen to join. To ensure impartiality, the Swedish Consumer Agency and the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority are represented and have a casting vote on the board of the Telecom Advisors.
