New collective agreements signed for white-collar workers in IT companies

The IT&Telecom companies within Almega have today, Monday, signed new collective agreements for IT companies with all counterparts (Unionen, Sveriges Ingenjörer and Akavia). The new agreements apply to salaried employees in IT companies and extend over 29 months. The total cost framework of 5.4% includes both wage increases and increased pension provisions.

- In constructive negotiations, our goal has been to reach a consensus. We have reached an agreement that is within the framework agreed by the social partners, which is gratifying," says Johan Mann, Head of Negotiations for IT&Telecom companies within Almega.

The agreements cover 29 months and are valid from November 1, 2020 until March 31, 2023. The agreements also provide for salary increases of 2.9% from November 1, 2020, and 1.8% from April 1, 2022, as well as increased Flexpension contributions of 0.3% on November 1, 2020, and 0.4% on April 1, 2022.

- "It is very gratifying that we have now agreed on collective agreements that extend over several years. This creates a long-term perspective, which is an important prerequisite for our member companies to remain competitive in the rapidly changing labor market," says Åsa Zetterberg, Director of IT&Telecom within Almega.

In total, the agreements cover around 50,000 employees in IT companies.
