Knowit - A sustainable and humane society through digitalization and innovation
Knowit's Sustainability Report 2019, p 23, 40, 41 and 43-44.
In 2018, Knowit became involved in the government initiative Fossil Free Sweden by actively contributing to the work on the roadmap for the digitalization consulting industry. In the roadmap, Knowit, together with other companies in the industry, has committed to, both in its customer assignments and in its own operations, actively contribute to Sweden being able to become the first fossil-free welfare country and that this will be achieved by 2045.
By developing services that help customers learn about their direct and indirect impact, for example by monitoring energy consumption, and transparency about the carbon impact of e-commerce and streamlining logistics and transport, Knowit can contribute to lower emissions. Knowit's expertise contributes to improved efficiency with the help of smart electricity meters and other digital solutions. By increasing connectivity, promoting the use of public transport, renewable energy and systems that collect information about energy use, customers can increase transparency about their CO2 emissions.
Knowit is a climate neutral company since January 1, 2019.
