Per Schlingmann
Businesses need to realize that a time machine has thrown us ten years into the future. So says Per Schlingmann, author of Corona Express - a little book about the post-pandemic world, in the latest episode of the IT&Telecom companies' podcast Vitecherupp.

- The pandemic is speeding up developments and processes that have been underway. This is most evident when it comes to digitization, of course. When we woke up on 20 May 2020, we actually woke up on 20 May 2030. That's how far we've come in terms of behavioral changes in how we use new technology," says Per Schlingmann.

The former Secretary of State sees "extremely" more advantages than disadvantages when it comes to digitization

- It leads to increased flexibility for people and increased efficiency for many companies. I believe that the values of flexibility are here to stay. Technology and digitalization give people more power to manage their own time. That's an obvious advantage. The downside is that it puts a lot more responsibility on employees, which puts more demands on leadership. Many companies need to realize that the time machine has thrown us ten years forward in time. Now it is important to keep up.
