How would you describe the tech industry and its importance today?

- The tech industry is an enabler and has become an increasingly important part of society. Our industry is crucial to our economic development, jobs, climate, welfare and how we live our lives. The tech industry is Sweden's new basic industry.

- The tech industry is constantly evolving, as are the definitions of what it covers. The industry includes companies that we have traditionally referred to as IT and telecoms, but it is broader and larger than that. It is also made up of companies that emerge at the interface between IT and telecoms and other traditional industries, such as healthtech, fintech, edtech and computer games.

What is the best thing about working at TechSverige?

- Oh, there's so much. It is extremely stimulating to work for such an exciting, innovative and important industry as the tech industry. To be able to contribute to creating even better conditions for the industry and at the same time push for sustainable social development and a future-oriented Sweden, feels meaningful. And to be able to do this together with our fantastic member companies, other key players and with our competent and committed team is very fun.
