Frida Faxborn, industrial policy expert
- I am responsible for sustainability issues related to the tech industry as well as procurement issues, on the interaction between customers and suppliers in the public market. Together with our Director, I am also responsible for all work related to the Board.
Why do you think it is important to work with what you do?
- Sustainability issues are the most important issues of our time and digitization creates opportunities for a more sustainable development of society in industry, business and government, but also for all of us humans, to reduce our environmental and climate footprint. The tech industry's products and services are a prerequisite for a green and smart transition. Raising awareness of this and driving the industry's most important issues forward in the field of sustainability is crucial for such societal development. Living more sustainably is also close to my personal heart and I am constantly trying to challenge myself to make wiser and more long-term choices.
What is the best thing about working at TechSverige?
- That I am in the middle of an industry that is so highly topical and crucial for Sweden's development, exports and competitiveness. Being involved in driving the development of the industry by creating the conditions for it to grow in the best way is incredibly stimulating. And all our committed member companies! After all, it is for and with them that we work and there is so much drive in them that inspires daily.
