Lars Lundberg, industrial policy expert
- I am responsible for the Welfare Technology Council, an exciting council that has a focus on everything related to welfare technology. It can be about anything from social systems, youital locks to motion sensors. This is one area with incredible potential as the proportion of older people is increasing dramatically while their need for future safety-enhancing technologies is unlimited. Technology in combination with human nursing is the future
- Another area that I work with is AI where I actively work to implement the AI Summit, one of the larger AI conferences annually. I also have a group of member companiesthat follow regulatory / policy proposals with the aim of revising the industry code AI that our member companieshave developed.
Why do you think it is important to work on what you do?
- "It's about showing the potential that exists in the area, while it is unfortunately the case that we in Sweden are no longer best in class. Our neighbors Finland and Estonia have come so far that for several years they have built national diginfrastructure that can easily be withdata transfer in healthcare, care, etc.
- We have a lot to learn from them! At the same time, we are still good at innovation, which gives us the opportunity to create innovative safety-enhancing digitalproducts and services. Procurement is another area that should be simplified
What is the best thing about working at TechSverige?
- Being able to with withmember companies in their development, seeing opportunities and threats.
