Thoughts on changes to Sweden's recovery plan

The government has decided on changes to Sweden's recovery plan under the EU Recovery Facility. I wonder what this means, and why the government, and perhaps especially the Minister of Digitization, does not make any communication of it?

Because if I have managed to read all the appendices and amendments correctly, the new plan means that - finally - there will be a slightly more long-term broadband support. I may of course be wrong, but the Government Offices, the Ministry of Infrastructure, is it not the case that this plan, which is now to be approved by the European Commission, contains new investments in broadband?

I read in the annex dated February 24, 2022 under the heading Investment. Broadband expansion, among other things, the following. "The cost is amended as follows. The total cost for 2021-2024 comprises SEK 4.7 billion from the RRF. Of the amount, SEK 1,400 million relates to 2021, SEK 1,300 million to 2022, SEK 700 million to 2023, SEK 700 million to 2024 and SEK 600 million to 2025."

In that case, it might be a (belated) Christmas present for Sweden and the tech sector that I called for in a previous post. I keep my fingers crossed and hope that the Minister of Digitization will soon decide to go out and tell us about it himself.
