Minister for Digitalization: "TechSverige is absolutely right"
Minister for Energy and Digitalization Khashayar Farmanbar participated with a film recording in which he stated that TechSverige is absolutely right that Sweden has so much to gain from being a world leader in digital development:
"You are of course absolutely right, Sweden should be a world-leading technology nation. Digitization is the great disruptive force of our time, creating new services and opportunities to improve our quality of life and ensuring that we deliver new innovative solutions, developour common society and strengthenour competitiveness, increase our level of innovation and streamline our processes." notes Khashayar Farmanbar and continues:
"Just as you describe through your 37 policy proposals, we need to invest in stronger leadership, we need to work more with the supply of skills and ensure that it is strengthened. We need to work on strengthening and securing the public sector. We need to strengthen our information and cyber security. We need to connect the whole country, rural as well as urban, to achieve these benefits and effects."
The Minister of Digitalization concluded by expressing a desire for a continued conversation with TechSerige and the industry to strengthen our society:
"As with the climate transition, we must ensure that the digital work we do leads to a higher level of innovation, greater sustainability and a stronger digitalized way of working.I am really looking forward to meeting you and discussing how we ensure that Sweden becomes a world-leading tech nation."
