New members to the board of TechSverige
At the annual meeting on May 11, two new members were elected to the board of TechSverige. The new members are Linus Wallin, CEO of Atea Sweden and Lars Kry, CEO of Nexer.
- "We are pleased to welcome Linus Wallin and Lars Kry to the Board. I am convinced that they, with their experience and together with the other members, will make a strong contribution to TechSverige's and the industry's continued development and work to create the best conditions for a world-leading tech sector in Sweden," says Åsa Zetterberg, Director of TechSverige.
TechSverige's Board of Directors is elected annually at the annual meeting. It is the nomination committee that puts forward proposals for members, which the members then vote on. The board must consist of a specially elected chairman and a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 other members. TechSverige's Federal Director is always a member of the Board.
- TechSverige plays an important role in shaping the future of the industry and I am grateful for the confidence that the nomination committee has given me. I look forward to working together with the board on our common issues to promote both the Swedish tech industry and society at large," says Linus Wallin, CEO of Atea Sweden.
- "It is with great pride and anticipation that I join the board of TechSverige. I personally have a great commitment to the issues that TechSverige drives around education, diversity and equality, but also the responsibility that it means to build the society of the future with technology as an enabler. Tech is the great paradigm shift of our time and we are in the middle of an exciting time with fantastic opportunities where I hope to be able to contribute to a positive and sustainable development of society, says Lars Kry, CEO of Nexer.
