TechSverige strengthens its employer service with new recruitments

TechSverige continues to sharpen its operations and develop a high-quality, industry-adapted employer service. The organization now welcomes employment lawyers Veronica Johansson and Ebba Svenburg, who further strengthen the organization's offer for increased member benefit.

With around 1,400 member companies, TechSverige is Sweden's largest industry and employer organization for IT, telecom and tech companies. As the industry grows and develops, TechSverige's Board has in recent years driven the association's development to increase the long-term benefit of membership and attractiveness for companies in the tech sector. One part of this work is the decision taken by the Board in October to withdraw from the current collaboration with Almega in order to independently pursue the sector's common issues and offer sector-specific employer services at the end of 2025.

During the year, the organization has made several important recruitments to strengthen its service and offering. The two new recruitments of Veronica Johansson and Ebba Svenburg complement the existing team and bring additional skills to meet the needs of IT, telecom and tech companies across the country.

- There has been a great deal of interest in our services in the new employer business and we are extremely pleased that we have now succeeded in recruiting a full team of top talent that will provide employer services to our member companies. With Veronika and Ebba together with Siri, Fredrik, Jenny, Lisa and Maja, we have now secured the competence in all employer issues that our member companies demand as well as regional presence in the south, west, north and Stockholm, says Karolina Löf, General Counsel and future head of the employer service together with Einar Humlin, Head of Negotiations.

Veronica Johansson joins as employment law and litigation lawyer. Veronica has extensive experience from working in and for companies with cross-border operations. She comes most recently from the employers' organization Fremia, where she worked as a litigator and negotiator. Prior to that, she worked with labor law advice to German and English-speaking companies at the German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce.

- I am really looking forward to joining the team at TechSverige and getting to know the members. It is a growing sector characterized by an incredibly fast pace of development and a strong international focus. It's a pleasure to be part of this journey," says Veronica Johansson.

Ebba Svenburg takes up the position of employment lawyer with responsibility for the South region, where she will be based, and with particular responsibility for business-related legal issues. She is a lawyer with many years of experience in labor law. She joins us from Advokatfirman Vinge, where she handled complex employment law matters for some of the largest tech companies in Sweden. She has also worked at Setterwalls law firm with M&A and labor law.

- "I am really looking forward to strengthening TechSverige's presence in the south and building the best possible service for tech companies in Skåne. With the changes and opportunities that await the industry, it will be incredibly exciting to help our member companies take on the challenges of the future, says Ebba Svenburg.

- TechSverige is in an expansive phase, and we are very pleased to strengthen the team with two such experienced labor lawyers, with both background from the tech industry, international experience and special expertise in business law issues. Their skills and experience will further sharpen our membership offering in our quest to provide the best employer service for IT, telecom and tech companies around the country," says Åsa Zetterberg, Director of TechSverige.
