Financing of studies
Transitional study support
If you are in the middle of your working life and want to broaden your skills, you can apply for a new transitional study grant. To be entitled to study allowance, you must meet certain requirements. You can read more about the requirements and the transition study grant atCSN.
Are you not eligible for Transitional Student Aid?
You can receive grants and loans from CSN if you are going to study in Sweden or abroad. What you can get depends on what you are going to study, how old you are, and your situation. Read more atCSN.
Training courses not eligible for aid
Some courses may be subject to fees. The CSN decides which courses are eligible for student finance and updates a list of these courses regularly. You can find more information atCSN.
Different courses may have different quality
To make it easier for you to find a programme or course of acceptable quality, we recommend that the training is quality-assured by a government agency or by a professional organization, such asthe Swedish Education Agencies.
