About us

TechSverige is an industry and employer organization for companies in the tech sector. Our approximately 1,300 member companies—ranging from fast-growing startups to large multinational corporations—employ nearly 100,000 people in Sweden. We work to strengthen our member companies in their role as attractive employers, sign collective agreements for IT, tech, and telecom companies, and offer employer services in the form of advice, negotiation, training, and legal protection. We also promote economic policy issues for long-term favorable conditions for the tech industry and for a strong and competitive Sweden.

TechSverige is growing, and demand for our employer services is increasing. We are therefore looking for a new colleague who wants to help develop our offering and contribute to creating the best conditions for companies in the industry.

About the role

The Negotiation & Legal team currently consists of ten labor lawyers and labor law experts who work together to support and strengthen member companies in their role as employers. We are now looking to expand the team with a labor lawyer/labor law expert who thrives in a varied and developing role.

With us, you will work with the full range of labor law issues, which means that you will:

  • provides expert advice on labor law to member companies
  • participates in negotiations with employers and trade unions
  • plans, develops, and implements training courses, webinars, and networking meetings
  • develops and quality assures labor law material, including for our Employer Guide
  • contributes to development projects within the unit and organization

The role involves a high degree of personal responsibility, close collaboration with skilled colleagues, and the opportunity to influence both employer issues and the development of the industry.

Who we are looking for

We believe that you have a solid foundation in labor law, experience in consulting and negotiation, and a genuine interest in working closely with employers and member companies.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

  • law degree or other relevant higher education
  • 2–5 years of experience in labor law consulting, preferably from an employer organization, law firm, company, or HR department
  • Good knowledge of labor law and confidence in handling union negotiations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English
  • Communication skills, relationship-building approach, and understanding of employers' everyday lives
  • High commitment to business conditions, responsibility, and a solution-oriented and unpretentious approach

Experience in collective bargaining issues, labor-management relations, contract interpretation, or training initiatives is considered an asset.
