TechSverige welcomes the Liberals' call for exemptions for the tech industry

TechSverige welcomes the Liberal Party's demand to exempt the tech industry and tech professions from the proposed wage requirement for labor immigration.

As we have previously highlighted (The government risks excluding the talent Sweden claims to want to attract – TechSverige), a general wage floor risks hindering the supply of talent within Swedish tech, where there is a great need for international cutting-edge expertise and competition is global.

"A more accurate regulatory framework is crucial for Sweden to remain attractive to talent, investment, and innovation," says Ana Andric, economic policy expert at TechSverige.
