With the advent of digitization and the pandemic, remote working, i.e. working outside the office, has become increasingly common. It is easy to say yes to remote work of this kind when it is technically possible, but the regulations in other countries may differ from those in Sweden.

Course description

Some employees want to work from other countries, perhaps from their holiday home in Spain for six months or from their hotel in a country on the other side of the world. As an employer, you may have to comply with certain local regulations and the employee may risk being uninsured and encounter difficulties in social security matters.

This is what you get in the webinar
During the webinar, Almega's employment lawyers provide tips on what information, certificates and supplementary agreements you need to obtain before authorizing someone to work remotely in another country. You will also get an update on how actual application has developed in the past year. You will also find information on what you, as an employer, need to investigate and know before authorizing an employee to work remotely from another country.

Course leaders
WandaAhlenius and Mia Fransson are labor lawyers at Almega's labor law unit and work with international issues.
