More talent with fewer barriers

Every year, Swedish companies recruit 9 000 engineers, IT architects and system developers from outside the EU. But the needs are greater than that. Seven out of ten companies in the knowledge-intensive services sector have difficulty recruiting and the lack of skills is a major obstacle to growth.

That's why Swedish innovation and tech companies want to see measures that strengthen Sweden's attractiveness, not more barriers.

Welcome to Almega's breakfast seminar on how we can continue to recruit international talent to Sweden to ensure prosperity, competitiveness and cope with the climate transition and digitization while respecting the rules for labor immigration.

Date: Friday, August 19, 9:00 - 10:15. Arrival registration and breakfast sandwich will be served from 08.30.

In the panel, we meet representatives of service companies, responsible politicians and representatives of Almega, TechSverige and Innovationsföretagen.
