Free movement within the EU - true or false

Welcome to a panel discussion together with Almega and the Swedish Travel Industry Association regarding the rules for working abroad.

Course description

What you get in the webinar

In order for employees and companies in Sweden to dare/be able to send staff to work temporarily in other countries, predictability is required regarding a person's social security affiliation. This is to know where the person can receive sickness benefit, pension, etc. As the systems are linked to where the employer must pay social security contributions and other conditions in an employment contract as well as collective insurance, in addition to clarity, a simplified process is also required to apply and quickly receive a response from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.

We discuss how it works and does not work today and how the processing of the so-called A1 certificate (foreign certificate) is done at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. We also describe what the regulations on social insurance within the EU look like and are applied.
