The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise's Security Delegation (SNSD) invites you to a full-day conference on how Swedish business is affected by, and contributes to, Sweden's membership of NATO.
NATO membership not only contributes to increased security and stability, but also opens up new business opportunities for companies in many different sectors. At the same time, it increases the responsibility of all actors in society to strengthen civilian preparedness and increase resilience to external threats. We therefore invite business representatives as well as local public actors to share experiences and discuss challenges ahead.
The conference is divided into two thematic sessions:
Morning: The role of business in NATO
Focus on the tasks and role of the business community within NATO, based on the practical application of host country support, the impact of defense procurement on regional and local actors, and the importance of infrastructure investments and military mobility in practice.
Afternoon: External threats to business capacity
It focuses on the actors who actively seek to influence and undermine business resilience. It focuses on how disinformation, cyber threats and other influence techniques are used against businesses, and what tools are available to understand, identify and manage these threats.
The day is interspersed with individual speakers, panel discussions and interactive elements.
Participation is free of charge and we offer lunch and coffee. As the number of places is limited and the places are sought after, a maximum of one person per member company can register.
