Drug use is increasing in society and raising more and more questions among employers. What actually applies when drug use is suspected in the workplace? Is there a responsibility for rehabilitation – and if so, when? What scope for action does the employer have, and what requirements are imposed from a work environment and labor law perspective? At this network meeting, we will discussdrugs in the workplacewith a focus on the employer's responsibility and the framework that applies to acting in a legally secure and professional manner.
During the meeting, we will discuss topics such as:
- what responsibilities the employer has under occupational health and safety and labor law legislation
- when and how an employer can act in cases of suspected or confirmed drug use
- what policies and procedures should be in place
- Drug testing as a tool – possibilities and limitations.
