It's time to start planning your holidays!

In this course, we will guide you through the sometimes complicated provisions and calculations of the Annual Holidays Act. We go through the holiday rules of the collective agreements and what is important to consider for upcoming holiday planning. You will receive guidance in the practical handling of common vacation issues that arise during a vacation year and in connection with the start and end of employment.

Course content

After completing the course, you as a participant should have all the knowledge you need to feel confident in handling and navigating vacation issues from an employer perspective.

During the course you will learn about:

  • Principles of the Holiday Act and holiday provisions in collective agreements
  • Calculation of holiday pay
  • What are the possibilities to agree on derogations from the holiday rules?
  • Absence due to vacation
  • The right to save holidays
  • Leave on termination of employment and dispute
  • How should holidays be organized and planned?
  • Practical tips and approaches for a smooth holiday management
