The Rental Act

On October 1, 2024, Section 12(a) of the Temporary Agency Workers Act will be updated for the first time. It entered into force on October 1, 2022 and means that a person hired out for 24 months during a period of 36 months at the same operating unit must be offered either permanent employment or two or three months' pay. We receive a lot of questions about this provision and this digital training goes through the most frequently asked questions.

Course description

This is what you will get in the training
In this in-depth digital training, we will explain the provision in detail. We will go through how to calculate the placement time, the scope of the provision - when it is a temporary agency and when it is not, and how to navigate the gray areas. In addition, we will highlight what the employer and the user company need to consider in relation to each other and the worker, as well as the importance of dialogue between the companies. We will also explain the importance of the business contract and the employment contract, how the client company should handle the provision in practice, and what the consequences of incorrect handling can be for employers, employees and client companies.
