The Future Agenda: Tech-Safe Sweden

This legislative term will be crucial for Sweden’s position in the technological shift. In the “Techsäkra Sverige” Future Agenda, TechSverige presents nearly 50 reforms on how AI and digitalization can strengthen Sweden’s competitiveness, create the jobs of the future, advance welfare, and contribute to a safer society.

The proposals include a goal for AI and digitalization to free up resources equivalent to 100 billion kronor annually in the public sector, a minister for AI and technology with overall responsibility for the technological transition, and initiatives focused on skills, innovation, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure.

The vision is that by 2035, Sweden will be Europe’s leading tech nation and a global role model for how AI and new technologies empower people, businesses, society, and democracy.
