During a webinar on September 30, 2020, TechSweden's report "Suppliers of societal benefit" was presented. The report, produced by IT&Telecom companies, is based on interviews with suppliers and contracting authorities and entities, as well as new figures and data from procurements in the IT and telecom sector. During the corona crisis, the importance of good interaction with market actors has become even clearer and the digital transformation of the public sector needs to continue.
The report proposes measures that are both possible and desirable to take in the near future to develop the interaction between the public sector and IT and telecom market players. Together, we can create effective and sustainable solutions for welfare and public administration that make use of the sector's innovative power and delivery capacity.
