Consultation response: eCall addition in PTS emergency call regulations
IT&Telecom companies have responded to the consultation.
The Swedish Post and Telecom Agency (PTS) intends, pursuant to section 30 of the Electronic Communications Ordinance (2003:396), to issue regulations amending the Swedish Post and Telecom Agency's regulations concerning the transmission of emergency calls and the provision of location data to the public safety answering point (PTSFS 2008:2) as amended by (PTSFS 2011:4), hereinafter referred to as the "emergency call regulations".
PTS hereby reports its investigation in accordance with the Regulatory Impact Assessment Ordinance (2007:1244).
