TechSweden's proposal for kickstarting digital skills development inspired by the home PC reform
Digitization and the accompanying need for digital skills, both at the top and the bottom, is a structural change that has been going on for some time but has accelerated in recent years. This trend has by no means been halted by the coronavirus crisis. The digital transformation is leading to both the elimination of jobs and the creation of new job opportunities. Many adults in Sweden do not have the digital skills needed to benefit from the transition.
This is why public support for individual digital skills development is needed. TechSverige presents the system proposal Tech-checks: An individual-based support for digital skills development for the jobs of the future and to kick-start after the corona crisis.
The video and the factsheet summarize the proposal. See also the webinar where the proposal was discussed.
