Today, February 11, Surfa Lugnt is launching the #Nätrespekt campaign to spread good examples that happen online. The aim is to promote the positive aspects of the internet and at the same time make us reflect on how our online behavior affects others. Do you know someone or know an organization that has done something particularly good online? Then take note of the initiative and share it on social media! The campaign runs until March 11. Join us and show #NetRespect

Online hate has recently become synonymous with the internet as a channel and arena. There are many examples in the media of how people are offended, threatened or get into trouble online. At the same time, the internet is an arena for social contacts, play and games, knowledge acquisition and much else that is fundamentally positive. Surfa Lugnt's goal is to get adults to talk to children and young people about things that are exciting, educational and otherwise rewarding online. A positive conversation opens up and gives confidence to also discuss any problems that arise when children and young people use the Internet.

There are many reasons to counter online hate, not least to promote the use of the internet as a positive force. Surfa Lugnt is therefore launching the online campaign #Nätrespekt, which involves showing each other respect online, but also highlighting good examples online that deserve respect.

Show #Netrespect too!
Do you know someone or know an organization that has done something particularly good online? Then pay attention to the initiative and share it on social media! For example, a share could look like this:

ViasatSport awards "Fan of the Month" to encourage constructive conversation on Facebook. It gives #Netrespect.

The support organization Tjejzonens Storasysterar supports young girls via chat and Skype. It deserves #Netrespect.

At Sågtorpsskolan, they are already discussing how to be a good friend online. Share more good examples of #NetRespect.

The campaign runs until March 11. Join us and show #NetRespect!
