We work at home today, March 26!
Today we are participating in Work from Home Day and allowing our employees to work wherever they want. This is the third year in a row that Work from Home Day is being held and we, together with the initiators Microsoft, want to demonstrate that a more flexible approach to work is needed and that work is not a place you go to but something you do.
Today, the technological solutions for a more flexible approach to work exist. However, work is still largely something you go to, rather than something you do. A more flexible approach to work would make it easier for people to organize their lives and reduce the stress of everyday demands. It would also help reduce the need for environmentally damaging commuting.
Last year, 145 companies and organizations signed up for Work at Home Day and this year they hope to double that number.
