At last! We are now on our knowledge journey with Arena Welfare Technology - the digital road to tomorrow's health and social care, which we are carrying out together with SKL. The first of four stops on the journey was characterized by inspiration, developing dialogue and discussions between representatives of the market's many players. Parliamentarians, county council members, academia, elderly care, social services and our members met here - a developing melting pot with digitalization opportunities in focus.

The day was opened by four inspiring speakers, each of whom contributed a question that formed the basis for the afternoon's discussions. And then came Dagny, now a well-known blogger with over 100 years of life experience and inspiring insights into the opportunities that digitalization opens up for the older generation!

Personally, I got many wonderful thoughts from the participants, which not least confirm that our idea of a national comprehensive Forum for Welfare Technology is right on time. There is great agreement that "someone" should take a holistic approach to the digitization of society. Who this "someone" is will certainly be crystallized during the Arena's continued knowledge journey.

The feedback I have received from the participants shows that the thought processes have started, some examples:

  • "What does it mean for me and my business that Sweden is leading the world in utilizing digitalization - what does my 'the perfect world' picture look like?"
  • "The different perspectives of the speakers were brilliant and should be repeated for more people - somehow."
  • "From Grunkor (internet of things), over organization (sharing economy), the social vision (quite right to bring up because it is something everyone must relate to), and then Dag and Dagny."
  • "The metaphor Dagny brings out all the important things; the meaning of life, acceptance of different approaches and so on."

Surely we can look forward together to the next inspiring and insightful stage of the knowledge journey with Arena Welfare Technology on May 16!
