TechSverige has signed a new collective agreement with Seko for the telecom industry

TechSverige has signed a new collective agreement with Seko for employees in the Telecom agreement. The agreement includes changes such as exemptions from the night work ban, a higher ceiling for returning to the overtime space and simplified MBL processes for smaller companies without a union club.

The new 24-month collective agreement covers around 130 telecoms companies and 17,500 employees and runs from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2027.

- "It is gratifying that we have a new agreement in place that contributes to increased flexibility for companies. Through the changes we have made, companies can more easily act based on their conditions, which is in line with our goal of competitive and company-oriented collective agreements," says Einar Humlin, head of negotiations at TechSverige.

The value of the agreement provides for wage increases of 5.5%, divided into two wage revisions: 3.0% on April 1, 2025 and 2.5% on April 1, 2026. The basis for wage increases under the agreement continues to be the individual company's economic and market conditions. The total value of the agreement is 6.4%, of which 0.5% corresponds to a day off through a reduction in working hours and a further 0.4% is set aside for flexi-pension.

- We are pleased that we have also been able to keep out strong demands from the unions for regulations that could restrict companies' ability to use various software to improve efficiency and develop their operations," says TechSverige's head of negotiations Einar Humlin.

- The telecom industry is very important for Sweden, and through this agreement we contribute to stability in the labor market and long-term rules and flexibility for the continued development and competitiveness of telecom companies, says Åsa Zetterberg, CEO of TechSverige.
