IT&Telecom Days 2016
Last Wednesday, some eighty people managed to brave the snowy weather and make their way to this year's IT&Telecom Day on the theme of perspectives on working life: One of them was the (Housing and) Digitization Minister Peter Eriksson (MP), who talked about the government's digitization strategy.

(Housing and) Digitization Minister Peter Eriksson (MP) said, among other things, that a digitization strategy should be alive and should also focus on follow-up, and promised that a new broadband strategy with greatly increased ambitions where everyone should be included will be presented before Christmas. The Minister also supported, and thanked for, the opinion piece on obstacles to necessary labor immigration published by DN on the same day, on the initiative of IT&Telekomföretagen.

This is how participants responded to one of the questions asked during the day via the mentimeter tool. If you're curious to see what other questions and answers came up, you can see a summary here!

Anna-Karin Hatt, CEO of Almega, was one of those who shared their perspectives during the day, under the heading "How are employers in the service sector affected by the new working life?".

Robert Lyngman, from the fast-growing Swedish recruitment platform Sqore, talked about current recruitment trends and new ways to find the right employees.

IT&Telecom Day ended with a mingle and the awarding of this year's Womentor Prize, which was won by IT services company Agero in the organization/company category and by Pink Programming profile Myky Tran in the individual category.
