Coronavirus COVID-19: How we look after members' interests
IT&Telekomföretagen monitors the interests of our members through our collaboration with Almega and the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and continuously keeps us updated on the situation in order to be prepared should the situation worsen.
The COVID-19 coronavirus is spreading globally and has already started to have an impact on Swedish businesses and the Swedish economy. Unrest is putting a wet blanket over consumption and investment. The Public Health Agency of Sweden has raised the risk assessment for the spread to very high, the government has decided on a crisis package to support Swedish companies in the shaky economy, and it has also decided to abolish the waiting period for a period.
- "Like the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, we welcome the fact that the Government is now acting urgently and that it has taken on board the proposals put forward by the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, Almega and our member organizations," says Christina Ramm-Ericson, Head of Industrial Policy at IT&Telecomföretagen. "We particularly welcome the fact that the government is taking measures to support companies that are financially affected by the virus.
