Dan Bjurman, Head of Sweden, Salesforce

Why have you taken this initiative?

Businesses today are working at full speed to meet the challenges they face. It could be difficulties around remote working, production and supplier stoppages or reduced sales. We participate in the IT&Telecom companies' initiative with the hashtag #vitecherupp and assist with advice and support to companies that now have to put full focus on finding new ways to reach their customers. Here we can assist with expertise and tools to facilitate and speed up the development and transition.

What do you offer?

We offer Salesforce Care, a free product suite to help small businesses during Covid-19. Products include Salesforce Essentials and Salesforce Social Studio, as well as access to the Tableau analytics tool to empower our customers in sales and customer service.

In addition, we make sure to spread our free training programs available on our competence platform Trailhead. We see the access to new, digital knowledge among employees as acute these days and therefore want to assist as many as possible with the latest linked to digitization, AI, technology, digital marketing, customer service and sales. In the current situation, with COVID-19, we have created customized training modules in our digital training platform Trailhead in, for example, teleworking, health and leadership in crises. The programs are designed so that anyone can follow them at their own pace, at home or at work, via computer or mobile.

Who are you targeting with your initiative?

We target companies where our platforms and services can do the most good. We are looking at partnerships among the companies we work with in Sweden. We already have a partnership with the training company Academic Works Academy to help more people get jobs in digitalization.

What do you want to achieve

We know that what we do at Salesforce is important and that it creates new jobs. Globally, by 2022, we will create over three million new jobs directly related to our platforms. We are participating in #vitecherupp because we want to provide skills, knowledge and tools that can help companies adapt to the current situation. It is now perhaps more important than ever to offer training opportunities that support companies' digitalization.
