Educational technology companies have been working flat out in recent weeks to meet the needs of teachers and schools for online learning in the event of a school closure.

- Several of our suppliers are now working in shifts to get all resources up and running and to be able to offer schools access to all the free digital learning materials that publishers now offer," says Jannie Jeppesen, CEO of Swedish Edtech Industry.

A national portal has been established to bring together all the support and resources made available by the entire edtech sector. The portal Skola online (covid-19) is updated daily and currently contains more than 50 providers who have developed support for schools, offering: free digital learning materials throughout the semester, teacher support for online teaching, and extended readiness for online use.

- "Now teachers, students and school leaders can quickly get an overview of the digital learning materials and digital tools that providers are offering to schools free of charge during COVID-19," says Jannie Jeppesen.
