Mattias Arnelund, CEO Barium
When a pandemic hits, we all have to do our part. For some of us, that means staying home to protect ourselves and others. For others, it means going to work on the frontline. Barium belongs to the first group and has been working remotely for several weeks now. But we wondered: is there anything else we can do to help those facing greater challenges now? After all, we help organizations every day to automate and digitize processes to reduce administration and free up time and resources.
As part of the IT&Telecom companies' initiative with the hashtag #vitecherupp, Barium has committed to help by using our platform and expertise to facilitate and speed up the automation of various processes.
What do you offer?
We mainly look at how we can contribute with our expertise and our platform to facilitate and speed up the automation of processes and working methods. The concrete offer can look a little different depending on what a particular organization needs help with.
In addition, we offer free use for 6 months of an application that we have quickly developed to support those organizations that now have many who have moved the office to the home. In such cases, it is important that employers review their obligations to employees and create a safe and functional working environment - even if the work is done from another location. This application gives the employer an overview of the organization and ensures that efforts are made where needed to ensure a good working environment when teleworking.
Who are you targeting with your initiative?
The challenges affect organizations of all sizes and industries, but at Barium we can make the biggest difference to medium and large organizations in both the private and public sectors, so that's who we target.
What do you want to achieve?
We know that our platform is already of great benefit to many organizations, not least in several municipalities and regions where we have created smart IT support of processes that ensure the right information, to the right individuals at the right time - without long development projects.
We are participating in #vitecherupp because we want to help identify challenges that have arisen in this emergency situation and help develop solutions to them. It is now perhaps more important than ever to be able to support different initiatives for digitizing processes to become more efficient.
At the same time, we know that we will not be able to do this alone and we are therefore very pleased with this broad industry initiative to jointly combat the effects of the Coronavirus.
