Why have you taken this initiative?

Many people are making heroic efforts in our society right now, and we want to be able to contribute what we can - fast and secure broadband. More and more people are working and studying at home, which means that there is not always enough performance for all households, many of which use broadband at the same time. We therefore took the initiative to increase the broadband speeds of our customers with the lowest speeds.

But it's important for us to think about both speed and stability. That's why, for the past few weeks, we've been offering public authorities a service that makes their websites more stable under the heavy load that often hits them during crises. In this way, we are increasing the chances of citizens receiving vital information - without being faced with a crashed website.

What do you want to achieve?

Put simply, we want to make life easier for the growing number of people who now work and study at home. Then, of course, it's great if more people follow suit with their own initiatives.

Who are you targeting with your initiative?

We are targeting everyone who uses the internet at home. And we know that it is more than just work and study that is important in households - news coverage also plays a major role in difficult times and now.

What do you offer in concrete terms?

We are increasing the lowest speeds of 100 Mbit/sec and 250 Mbit/s to 500 Mbit/s - up to five times faster broadband speeds. It's free, households don't have to do anything to activate the change, and it lasts until more and more people start going back to their offices and schools.
