Softhouse launches digitization support
Softhouse is an IT company that develops software solutions for businesses and other organizations. Since the outbreak of the coronavirus in Sweden, Softhouse has switched to offering free webinars on remote work and digital leadership, which has previously been highlighted in #vitecherupp. The response has been very good and Softhouse has since launched further engagements to support the industry.
In early April, Softhouse joined #vitecherupp to talk about the free webinars on remote work and digital leadership that it started offering due to the spread of the coronavirus. The webinars and the e-lunches that Softhouse also developed in early spring were a way for the company to help create better conditions for a more digitalized society. Rebecka Lindhe, Chief Marketing Officer at Softhouse, explains how the work has gone.
- We have had just over 200 participants in our free webinars. These have included internal events, digital breakfasts and after-work events where we try to help our customers move digitally. The initiatives have gone really well and we have had a very good turnout. It's also been great that we've had a very good response to what we've done," says Rebecka Lindhe.
Since April, Softhouse has also launched new commitments to support the industry, including an initiative called the Developer Helper. With the development help, Softhouse wants to offer help with digitization through a competition where you can apply for help from one of the company's developers.
- We are a software house and during this spring we have been thinking about what we can do to help other companies get on their feet. It landed in this offer where we can help with digitization, says Rebecka Lindhe.
Start-ups, larger companies and private individuals can apply. Softhouse will then select a project and work on it during the fall. The application was opened a month ago and will be open during July. Many of the applicants have an existing service that they want to develop further, but the proposals can also be ideas for building something completely new.
- We are good at building everything digitally and the idea is that we can contribute our expertise to help develop new features. We really want to contribute and do our bit. If everyone works together, maybe we can come out of this a little stronger," concludes Rebecka Lindhe.
