The September 8th IT&Telecom companies organized a webinar on how the IT and telecom industry is affected by the coronavirus crisis, with the participation of Anders Ygeman, Minister for Energy and Digitalization.

On September 15, there was a meeting with the Telecommunications Area and, among other things, the consultation response to the prepaid card investigation and the information paper on the future of 2G/3G were discussed. Later in the month, the publication Radio waves from 5G base stations was published.

A meeting of the Sustainability Council took place on September 16. The main focus was on the issue of raising the visibility of the industry's initiatives to meet the sustainability goals of the 2030 Agenda.

On September 21, the government submitted the budget bill for 2021 to the Riksdag. A blog with a general reflection on BP21 was published on techsverige.se.

Two press releases were also published, on the occasion of the government's budget for 2021; Necessary investments in broadband are welcomed and Failure to invest in digital skills will cost jobs and growth opportunities.

The IT Skills Council met on September 23. Discussions focused on the upcoming skills report, which was scheduled to be presented in December.

On September 29, IT&Telekomföretagen organized a webinar together with Almega and Svenskt which focused on recruitment of staff in a global arena, political influence and how it can be easier to start and develop companies in Sweden.

On 30 September, IT&Telecom companies organized a webinar where the association's new report Suppliers of societal benefits was presented.
