Per Wallentin new Chairman of the Board of TechSverige

Per Wallentin, President and CEO of Knowit, has been elected as the new Chairman of the Board of TechSverige, formerly IT&Telekomföretagen. Per Wallentin replaces Pär Fors, who will leave his position at the end of the year.

Per Wallentin was today, at TechSverige's extraordinary general meeting, elected as the new chairman of the board of the industry and employer organization. Per Wallentin replaces Pär Fors who has announced that he wishes to resign as he has taken up a new position as CEO of a company in Denmark.

- Our industry is one of Sweden's most important new basic industries, in order to solve society's climate and sustainability challenges. Through continued collaboration and with technology as a tool, we can create the conditions for people to be innovative. I look forward to being part of the solution and contributing with my experience of digital transformation and leadership," says Per Wallentin, CEO of Knowit.

Per Wallentin has a solid track record and has worked in the industry since the turn of the millennium. Since 2011, he has been CEO of the digitization consultancy Knowit and has been a member of TechSverige's board since last year.
