A tech agenda for Sweden

Techagenda

Sweden has so much to gain from being a world leader in digital development. Digitization is of fundamental importance for Sweden's economic growth, for productivity and innovation in the entire business sector and in all public activities, and for sustainable social development. Tech is a new Swedish basic industry, which accounts for many of the new jobs. Its contribution to GDP is almost as large as the sum of the traditional basic industries.

However, we cannot be complacent and live on yesterday's investments or victories. When Sweden is compared to other countries with similar conditions, we are doing well - but we are losing momentum. Our previous advantage and digital competitiveness are diminishing as other countries develop much faster than we do.

För att stärka Sverige som världsledande technation presenterar vi en techagenda för Sverige med 37 policyförslag inom tio olika områden. Det är vår förhoppning att vi med denna rapport kan bidra till att skapa ett större politiskt engagemang, vilket i sig resulterar i en mer ambitiös techpolitik, inför valet 2022 och under kommande mandatperiod.
