Åsa Zetterberg in the Government's Digitization Council

The government recently decided to relaunch the Digitization Council, which aims to contribute to the development of the government's strategic work in the field of digitization. Åsa Zetterberg, Director of TechSverige, will be a member of the Council.

 

- "I thank you for your confidence in me and look forward to contributing to the important work to take advantage of the opportunities of digitalization. Sweden has so much to gain from being a world leader in digital development," says Åsa Zetterberg. 

The other appointed members of the Digitization Council are Irene Ek, Head of Public Policy for Cloud Services, Erik Ekudden, Chief Technology Officer, Darja Isaksson, Director General, Magnus Mähring, Professor, Maria Rosendahl, Head of Industrial Policy, Patrik Sundström, Head of Digitization, and Oscar Stege Unger, CEO and Founder. The Council's work is extended until December 31, 2026. 

- It is my hope that we in the Digitization Council will help the government raise its ambitions and that steps are taken so that Sweden stands up to global competition and takes advantage of the benefits linked to welfare, climate change, security and productivity, says Åsa Zetterberg.
